This is the 9th year for The Buckeye Bridge Ride. This ride will take place in Preble County, visiting all seven of Preble County’s Covered Bridges. There are four different routes, ranging from 15, 35, 55 to 75 mile rides.  Additionally, Preble County's newest bridge, the Hueston Woods Covered Bridge will be added to a fifth ride estimated at 100 miles.  These rides will take you on a scenic tour of Preble County. The Buckeye Bridge Run is a full SAG with four stops.

Ride Information

The ride this year is scheduled for Saturday, June 23, 2012, beginning at the School Exhibit Building (building #19) on the Preble County Fairgrounds.

Registration will be open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 a.m. on the day of the ride.

The start will be an open, staggered start or if you want to ride in a group, there will be a group start at 7:00 a.m. There is no rain date, so please dress appropriately. Preregistered riders will have a packet waiting in their name on the day of the ride. There will not be a confirmation mailed out. We recommend that you arrive before 10:00 a.m. if you are riding the 75 mile ride or 100 mile ride. However, registration will close at 11:00 a.m. Helmets are required for your safety.

Proceeds from the Event

We wish to thank those who participated last year in The Buckeye Bridge Run. Thank you for your continued support. This year all proceeds will benefit the The Preble County Junior Fair Board.

The Preble County Junior Fair Board (PCJFB) is a non-profit organization that is comprised of 4-H and FFA members across Preble County. The PCJFB is involved with the planning and animal shows exhibited at the 2012 Preble County Junior Fair.

All the proceeds from this event will be used to pay for various items for the upcoming fair. The proceeds from this event also help provide for the future Junior Fair purchases, helping all youth in Preble County involved in the 4-H program.

Only those preregistered are guaranteed a T-shirt the day of the ride.

By participating in this ride, I, myself, my spouse, assigns, heirs, successors, executors, administrators and legal representations, hereby acknowledge and agree to assume any and all risk arising out of any actions, conduct, behavior or events occurring or related to my participation in the ride. I fully and completely release and waive any and all claims, complaints, causes actions or demands of whatever kind (including without limitation, any claims of negligence) which I have or may have in the future against the Preble County Junior Fair Board, Preble County Youth, their affiliates, predecessors, and successors and all their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents arising  out of any actions, conduct, decisions, behavior or events occurring or related to my participation in this ride. I understand that my name, address, photography, voice and/or likeness may be used in promotions or advertising materials. I consent to such uses and any rights of privacy or publicity I may have in connections with those uses. I have read and agree to the above.
